Who has no past, has no future. As a result of the Qatari Society's realization of this truth, Qatar became what it is today. Despite the development witnessed by the country in all fields and at all levels, Qatari noble people still hold onto the essence of their heritage in their daily life activities or even in their hobbies.
It is for this reason that Qatar is a home to some of the most important owners of classic cars in the world.
The Gulf Qatari Classic Cars Association, which I have the honor to be its Chairman, seeks to demonstrate the determination of those in charge of the association to achieve its goals by building bridges of communication between classic car lovers, as well as providing a fertile ground for communication and exchange of experience among them.
The Qatari society is witnessing an increasing interest in the acquisition of classic cars, which now exceed 4 thousand cars representing various ... models, particularly that some of them are quite rare.
Indeed, some of the owners have cars that are antique and very vintage as the year of their production dates back to the year 1920, and perhaps even before that. The Gulf Qatari Classic Cars Association, while receiving all the support from its Honorary President, His Excellency Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al Thani, aims at raising this important sector to advanced levels.
In addition, it aims at increasing community awareness of the importance of this sector as part of the heritage and history of our beloved Qatar.

For many in Qatar, acquisition of classic cars represents a culture and heritage that must be preserved. It has come to be viewed as part of the culture and heritage of the Qatari society that all those concerned, especially classic car owners, must seek to preserve and promote.
Classic cars have their fans throughout Qatar as well as all over the world. The association seeks to promote and support classic car enthusiasts and owners, especially since there are quite rare cars owned by many in Qatar. Those cars are considered artistic and engineering masterpiece; ones that were manufactured by the oldest and largest car manufacturers in the world, ... and are considered priceless in the eyes of their owners and lovers alike.
The classic car sector in Qatar began to move forward and grow at an accelerating pace, thus establishing itself as a historical and cultural sector in Qatar that must be preserved and encouraged in order to continue its desired progress at both the local and global level.
With the new launch of the association, we hope to increase the services provided to classic car owners in Qatar in the near future. We also aim for the association to be the preferred destination for classic car owners and lovers alike.
