Holding the Ordinary and Extraordinary General Assembly for the fiscal year 2024 of the Qatari Gulf Classic Cars Association

The work of the Ordinary and Extraordinary General Assembly session of the Qatari Gulf Classic Cars Association concluded on Wednesday, February 19, 2025, in the presence of Mr. Omar bin Hussein Al Fardan, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors, and His Excellency Sheikh Nawaf bin Nasser bin Khalid Al Thani, Member of the Board of Directors, in addition to a group of members of the General Assembly.

In his speech to the members of the association, Mr. Omar bin Hussein Al Fardan stressed the continuation of work on developing the association's work mechanisms to advance its activities towards horizons that achieve the aspirations of the members of the General Assembly. During the meeting, the auditor's report on the audited budget for 2024 was presented and discussed, and the final account for 2024 was approved. The members of the Board of Directors were discharged.

The draft estimated budget for the fiscal year 2025 was also approved, in addition to approving the appointment of an auditor for the fiscal year 2025.

During the General Assembly meeting, Eng. Abdul Latif Ali Al Yafei, a member of the Board of Directors and Secretary-General, presented to the members of the General Assembly the Board of Directors' report for the year 2024.

During the presentation, Al Yafei explained in detail the most prominent stations that the association went through during the year 2024.

The work of the ordinary and extraordinary general assembly session was concluded towards setting the date for holding the association's elections for the period (2025-2028). The elections of the Qatari Gulf Classic Cars Association will be held on Tuesday, September 21, 2025, at the association's headquarters in the Marriott Marquis City Center Hotel building, 24th floor.

The general assembly approved the formation of a committee to manage the electoral process, as follows:

1- His Excellency Sheikh Faleh bin Nawaf Al Thani - Member of the General Assembly (Chairman of the Committee)
2- Mr. Badr bin Abdul Wahab Al Faihani - Member of the General Assembly (Committee Member)
3- Mr. Hussein bin Omar Al Fardan - Member of the General Assembly (Committee Member)
