The Gulf Qatari Classic Cars Association crowned the winners of the Qatar Classic Cars Contest & Exhibition 2022, at the conclusion of its 6-day activities, in the presence of a number of dignitaries, collectors and classic car enthusiasts.

At the closing ceremony, 26 winners of the competition, which was organized under the supervision of the International Classic Car Federation (FIVA), which set criteria for selecting the participating categories and winners, were honored.

His Excellency Sheikh Faisal bin Qassim Al Thani, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Gulf Qatar Classic Car Association, praised the great turnout witnessed by the exhibition from the first day and the great competition between the owners of classic cars participating in the competition, pointing to the success of the exhibition in attracting visitors from inside and outside the country to represent a great celebration ahead of The most important event in the world is the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.

For his part, Omar Hussein Al-Fardan, Vice Chairman of the Association's Board of Directors, confirmed the success of the exhibition and competition in strengthening the position of the Gulf Qatar Classic Car Association in the Qatari community as a sponsor and supporter of classic car owners. In an exclusive statement to Qatar News Agency (QNA), he noted the excellence of the exhibition and competition this year, with the participation of a new elite of car owners, who had a brilliant presence and performance.

Al-Fardan drew attention to the unparalleled turnout for the exhibition from all segments of society, including Qataris and residents, stressing that the next session of the exhibition will witness wider participation from the Arab Gulf countries.

In turn, His Excellency Sheikh Nawaf bin Nasser bin Khalid Al Thani, Board Member of the Gulf Qatar Classic Car Association, affirmed the continuation of the association’s distinguished journey and the success that it started and its success in creating an annual platform that brings together owners and enthusiasts to acquire rare models of classic cars and educates the public, citizens and residents, about the importance of this type.
