The President of FIVA, visits the Gulf Qatari Classic Cars Association

The President of (FIVA) the International Federation of Ancient Vehicles visits the Gulf Qatari Classic Cars Association.

Mr. Tiddo Bresters: The cars displayed in the Sheikh Faisal Museum and the Labila Museum imitate major international museums.

During his visit to Qatar, Mr. Tiddo Bresters, President of FIVA, had the pleasure of visiting the Sheikh Faisal bin Qassim Al Thani Museum. His Excellency Sheikh Faisal received him and gave him a tour of the museum, showcasing the most prominent classic cars on display.

Mr. Bresters expressed his admiration for the distinguished collection of classic cars displayed at the Sheikh Faisal Museum, which he found to be fascinating and historically rich. He is one of the most prominent collectors of classic cars in the world.

Sheikh Faisal bin Qassim Al Thani, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Qatari Gulf Classic Cars Association, welcomed Mr. Bresters' visit and said it strengthens the partnership relationship between the association and FIVA. He added that this kind of visit allows them to exchange experiences and implement international standards that the federation applies to preserve classic cars.

The trip also included a visit by Mr. Tiddo Bresters to Mr. Omar bin Hussein Al Fardan, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Gulf Qatari Classic Cars Association. The two discussed the future of cooperation between the association and FIVA, as well as their development plans and hosting of many events and competitions.

Mr. Bresters also visited the Latbila Museum and expressed his great astonishment at the quality of the cars displayed there. He said, “The most important thing that distinguishes the Letbelah Museum is not the quantity, but the wonderful quality, which is a great legacy owned by Mr. Omar Al-Fardan.”

Eng. Abdullatif bin Ali Al-Yafei, Member of the Board of Directors and Secretary General of the Gulf Qatari Classic Cars Association, also met with Mr. Tiddo Bresters. During their meeting, they discussed the importance of preserving classic cars and promoting the culture of collecting and maintaining them.

Lastly, Mr. Bresters visited the Qatar National Museum, where he met with Mr. Mohammed Saad Al Rumaihi, CEO of the Qatar Museums Authority, and Mr. Al Kindi, Director of the Classic Cars Museum at the Museums Authority.
